BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN PAIN AND SUFFERING

I strongly empathize with people who have had unfortunate incidents in life and have had to endure pain but not so for those who choose to dis-empower themselves by suffering in the name of circumstances.  I feel led to provoke someone’s thought that suffering  only leads to the path of destruction, unfortunately many still choose to take that root, because they have not  been able to make a correlation between the two.

Pain is a natural course that cannot be changed but how you react to the situation determines whether you choose an empowering life or choose a negative perceptive that leads to suffering.   However difficult this may sound suffering is a choice.  My heart longs to reach out to people who have not been able to make the distinction between pain and suffering.  Pain is the result of an incident for example a tragic accident, natural disaster, the death of a loved one and physical abuse. The list can be endless, but how a person chooses to respond and react is the key distinction between pain and suffering.

Have I got the right to write about how people choose to respond or react when faced with circumstances that makes them feel they have lost control and have experienced emotional tragedy, injustice or hopelessness, I suppose the question of control is debatable.  I will suggest control is much more displayed when you know that you have a choice in how you respond or react to a situation.  It does sadden my heart when I see people choosing to go down the destructive root of anger, self-pity, frustration, blaming self and others, the society and whatever they choice to blamed rather than choosing to make a difference in their lives and others.  I am sure we have all heard of people who against all odds have decided to explode beyond the limitation of their conditions.  I believe that in whatever situation you find yourself, you owe it to yourself to choice life in abundance, i.e. a rich and fulfilling life.

POSSIBILITY MENTALITY

WHAT DOES NEW YEAR CONNOTE TO YOU?

How you perceive the New Year is key to what you actually get to accomplish by the end of the year.  Are you one of those that says, it's another year, so what, I haven't got much to say for it.  In order words  you approach the year with a negative mindset and you beat yourself down for not been able to accomplish your goals or you one of those who have accomplish a part of your goals for last year but now feel there isn't a point in setting yourself any goals for 2011 because you don't achieve them i.e a mentality that limits you.

Today, I want to address both type of people here by inspiring you to change your perspective to a possibility mentality by viewing  the New Year from  two dimensions.

Firstly, to those who feel despondent, New Year for you should be about changing your perception to view the New Year as an opportunity to start again creatively, in respective of the past, you can choose not to give up after all, they said Thomas Edison who invented the light bulb we now use today tried 1000 times before accomplishment.  Have you tried 1000 times? I guess not so you have no reasons to give up ." Winners don't quit and quitters don't win".  Put on your possibility mentality hat and there is no stopping you.  The only limitation between you and your goals is the limitation you set yourself.  Colonel Sanders of KFC now known worldwide, did not make the name we now know until over 60 years of age.

For the second sets of people you have every reasons to celebrate your feats and the same capabilities you put to work to accomplish the goals you achieved can be put to work again and again and again to achieve the same result, so may be you are not there yet  but at least you are further away from where you started.  Therefore adopt a  possibility mentality and you will see all your goals accomplished as you persevere.  So for you I would suggest  the New Year should be about an opportunity to move on. They do say "Rome was not build in a day" and "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step".

I WISH ALL MY FOLLOWERS AN UNLIMITED BREAKTHROUGH YEAR IN EVERY SPHERE OF LIFE.
